This education program inspires with insights on online storytelling from international experts. You will improve your media skills in photo, video, audio and text by making online variants: social video, vlogs,  podcasts, webtexts, an engaging account on instagram. You’ll learn how to find and reach an online audience and what the legal aspects of creating online are. Beside that, you’ll experiment with virtual reality, augmented reality, stopmotion, geobased audio storytelling, parallax photo’s, cinemagraphs, videomapping, longreads and greenkey.

This postgraduate course takes a full academic year and counts 39 credits. The education program consists of 5 components:
  • Inspiration in digital storytelling (guest lectures)
  • Digital storytelling skill track (tutorials, workshops and assignments)
  • Experiment (weekly ateliers)
  • Internship in the professional field (inland and abroad)
  • A final project (personal digital story)
During the first semester, you’ll attend evening courses on monday and wednesday. On thursday you’ll work together with your teachers and fellow students in the atelier. During the second semester you’ll work as an intern and we will continue with the weekly studio time on thursdays.

During this postgraduate course you’ll learn to tell a story online with both journalistic and commercial approaches. You’ll take courses given by experts from the professional field. In January, your internship will start and then you’ll get to work in the media or communication sector.

This postgraduate course takes place from February 2017 until June 2018, counts 27 credits and consists of 5 modules:

  • Digital Content & Journalism,
  • Digital content production,
  • Online publicatie,
  • Digital creative of the future,
  • Internship.

During these modules you’ll learn to anticipate the expectations of a digital audience and you’ll dive into the difference between branded and journalistic content. You’ll get to work practical with HTML, CSS and CMS so you can create a website or blog yourself. You’ll also work with various story tools. You’ll learn to tell stories by way of online video, longreads, livestreams, timelines, infographics, photo’s and graphic material, interactive video, animation and story mapping. Finally, you get the chance to put all this knowledge into practice during an internship.The education program starts in October 2017 and has a duration of one semester (until February 2017). This contains 6 weeks internship. Altogether, this education program counts for 27 credits. Courses take place every tuesday and wednesday during the day.
